Position: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Location: England, Chester
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: On Duty Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities

Healthcare Assistants support nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering care to patients. They assist with daily living activities and help maintain a safe and clean environment.

  • Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
  • Help with mobility and physical activities, including transferring patients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, including bed making and equipment cleaning.
  • Support patients emotionally and provide companionship.
  • Assist with basic medical tasks, such as taking vital signs and recording patient information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
